Article 19 - Wireless equipment for intelligent traffic systems
Technical standards for wireless equipment for intelligent transportation systems using radio waves in the frequency range 5855 ~ 5875 MHz are as follows:
- Occupied frequency range below 20 MHz
- For digital transformation, the access method must be orthogonal frequency division multiple access (OFDMA).
- The center frequency of the emitted radio waves should be 5865 MHz
- Antenna supply power of 200mW or less, equivalent isotropic radiated power of 4W or less
- Permissible frequency deviation within ±0.1×10-6 of center frequency
- (Emission) need not be less than the following standard values:
a. Out-of-band launch

The technical standards for wireless devices for intelligent transportation systems using radio waves in the frequency range 5895~5925 MHz are as follows:
- Occupied frequency band range less than 10 MHz
- The tuning method is digital transformation, the connection method is the collision avoidance/intermediate connection method (CSMA/CA)
- The center frequency of the emitted radio waves is 5900 MHz, 5910 MHz, 5920 MHz
- The antenna supply power must be 100 mW or less and the equivalent isotropic radiated power must be 2W or less
- The frequency offset should be within ±20x10-6 of the center frequency
- Emission/Fire need not be less than the following standard values:
