Dt&C VINA is the only testing laboratory officially designated to implement QCVN 132:2022/BTTTT

This designation is a big step forward for Dt&C VINA in the field of testing, making Dt&C VINA the only lab in Vietnam at the present time that can implement this QCVN 132:2022/BTTTT.

General information

QCVN 132:2022/BTTTT was issued together with Circular 24/2022/TT-BTTTT of the Ministry of Information and Communications dated November 30, 2022 "National technical regulations on electrical safety for terminal equipment telecommunications and information technology”.

This standard is drafted based on the IEC 62368-1:2018 standard (derived from IEC 62949:2017, this version has been issued with the number QCVN 22:2021/BTTTT), including main content on electrical safety requirements and some physical safety requirements (durability) such as impact testing, free fall testing... QCVN 132:2022/BTTTT replaces the technical requirements specified in clause 2.4 of QCVN 22:2010/BTTTT.

QCVN 132:2022/BTTTT takes effect from January 1st, 2024.

Applicable subjects

This regulation applies to Vietnamese and foreign organizations and individuals that produce and trade equipment within the scope of this regulation in the territory of Vietnam.

Scopes

This regulation regulates electrical safety requirements applicable to telecommunications and information technology terminal equipment themselves.

This regulation does not specify the electrical safety requirements of interfaces designed and intended for connection to telecommunications and information technology networks.
