Dt&C Vina is the first and only testing company in Vietnam to provide CB certification testing services for home appliances and lighting products.

What is the CB Scheme?

The Certification Body (CB) certification scheme for the IEC system of electrical engineering equipment and components conformity assessment schemes (IECEE) is the world's first international system for general acceptance of safety test reports and certificates for products, equipment, tools, electrical and electronic components. Based on internationally accepted product safety standards, the CB Certification Program utilizes a global network of CB testing laboratories (CBTLs) responsible for testing products to current technical standards. The product test results will then be sent to the national certification body (NCB) in the member countries of the CB Certification Program. The NCB may allow legal access to products that have passed CBTL testing without additional testing.

Dt&C VINA is a full-fledged global member of the IECEE CB Scheme

Dt&C VINA operates CBTL authorized by the CB Certification Program that can test home appliances and lighting products.

Currently, the scope of IECEE CBTL authorization obtained by Dt&C Vina laboratory is reflected in standards related to a wide range of products such as:

For home appliances:

IEC 60335-2-9: Ovens, toasters and similar portable cooking appliances
IEC 60335-2-14: Kitchen machines (Food mixers, blenders, centrifugal juicers,...)
IEC 60335-2-15: Equipment for heating liquids (Rice cookers, slow cookers, pressure cookers, etc.)
IEC 60335-2-21: Storage water heater
IEC 60335-2-23: Skin or hair care appliances (Hair dryers, curling irons, hand dryers, ...)
IEC 60335-2-65: Air cleaners
IEC 60335-2-80: Electric fans

For lighting equipment:

IEC 60598-2-1: Fixed general purpose luminaires
IEC 60598-2-2: Recessed luminaires
