On October 07, 2022, Dt&C Vina officially received the designation of Ministry of Information and Communications (MIC) on licensing inplementation of QCVN 65:2021/BTTTT "National technical regulation about 5GHz radio access equipment". 

General Information 

QCVN 65:2021/BTTTT was issued inder Circular 02/2022/TT-BTTTT "National technical regulation about 5GHz radio access equipment" on May 16, 2022. From July 1st, 2023, imported and domestically produced 5 GHZ radio access equipment must meet the requirements specified in QCVN 65:2021/BTTTT before being circulated on the market. MIC encourages businesses, organizations and indiviuals to manufacture and import 5GHz radio access equipment to apply QCVN 65:2021/BTTTT from the effective date of this Circular enforcement (July 1st, 2022). 

Scope 

Regulation QCVN 65:2021/BTTTT applies to radio intranet devices (5 GHz band RLAN equipment) capable of operating an all or some of the bands specified in table 1, specified in section 1.1. Scope of Regulation issued 02/2022/TT-BTTTT dated May 16, 2022.

This standard sets forth bandwidth acess requirements for sharing bandwidth resources with other devices. 

Subjects of application 

This regulation applies to organizations and individuals that import, manufacture and operate equipment capable of accessing radio in the 5GHz RLAN band within the scope of this regulation in the territory of Viet Nam. 

Technical Regulations 

QCVN 65:2021/BTTTT stipulated criteria such as: Nominal center frequency; Nominal channel bandwidth and occupied channel bandwidth; RF transmit power, transmit power control (TPC) and power density; unwanted emissions of transmitters; receiver spurious emissions; DFS dynamic frequency selection; receicer blocking feature. 

In addition, QCVN 65:2021/BTTTT also has regulations on measurement methods.
