Decision No. 2711 of the Ministry of Science and Technology on the announcement of group 2 products and goods

In order to understand the regulatory information for electrical and electronic products and goods, Dt&C VINA would like to inform customers and partners of the latest Decision of the Ministry of Science and Technology as below.

Pursuant to the Law on Standards and Technical Regulations dated June 29, 2006;

Pursuant to the Law on Product and Goods Quality dated November 21, 2007;

Pursuant to the Government's Decree No. 127/2007/ND-CP dated August 1, 2007 detailing the implementation of a number of articles of the Law on Standards and Technical Regulations, Decree No. 78/2018/ND-CP dated May 16, 2018 of the Government amending and supplementing a number of articles of Decree No. 127/2007/ND-CP of August 1, 2007 detailing the implementation of a number of articles of the Law on Standards and Technical Regulations.;....

At the request of the General Director of the General Department of Standards, Metrology and Quality and the Director of the Legal Department, the decision to announce group 2 products and goods has some updated changes in HS codes and national technical regulations (QCVN) and legal documents governing, replacing the following Decisions:

a. Decision No. 3810/QD-BKHCN dated December 18, 2019 of the Minister of Science and Technology on the announcement of group 2 products and goods under the management responsibility of the Ministry of Science and Technology.

b. Decision 3115/QD-BKHCN dated November 13, 2020 of the Minister of Science and Technology amending and supplementing Decision No. 3810/QD-BKHCN dated December 18, 2019 of the Minister of Science and Technology Technology for the announcement of group 2 products and goods is under the management responsibility of the Ministry of Science and Technology.

Dt&C VINA outlines a number of amendments, supplements and updates compared to the Appendix attached to Decision 3810:

Supplement to Section 5.5 Electric fans for household and similar purposes, having a rated voltage not exceeding 250V for single-phase electric fans and 480V for other electric fans, with an electric motor attached to the capacity over 125W. Include:
