Scope of application

This standard specifies the energy efficiency levels for road and street lighting LED luminaires, having a wattage equal to or greater than 20W, including those with a removable power control unit (Driver).

LED street lights include:

- road and street lighting luminaires and other outdoor walkway lighting applications in public places;

- tunnel lighting;

and for use with LED light sources.

The documents cited below are necessary for the application of this standard. For dated documents, the above mentioned version applies. For undated documents, the most recent version, including any amendments, applies.

TCVN 10885-2-1:2015 (IEC 62722-2-1:2014), Luminaire performance - Part 2-1: Particular requirements for LED luminaires

TCVN 11843:2017 (CIE S 025:2015), Test methods for LED lamps, LED luminaires and LED modules

Enterprises and manufacturers are encouraged to test performance and publish energy labels for LED products according to TCVN 12666: 2021 before the deadline of 2025. Expected from January 1, 2025, TCVN 12666: 2021 is mandatory applicable to imported and domestically produced products.
