Decision 367 on amending and supplementing the group of lighting products with LED technology in Decision No. 2711/QD-BKHCN of the Ministry of Science and Technology

On March 12, 2024, the Ministry of Science and Technology issued Decision 367/QD-BKHCN on amending and supplementing the group of lighting products with LED technology in Decision No. 2711/QD-BKHCN dated 2022, December 30th.

Pursuant to the Law on Standards and Technical Regulations dated June 29, 2006;

Pursuant to the Law on Product and Goods Quality dated November 21, 2007;

Pursuant to the Government's Decree No. 127/2007/ND-CP dated August 1, 2007 detailing the implementation of a number of articles of the Law on Standards and Technical Regulations, Decree No. 78/2018/ND-CP dated May 16, 2018 of the Government amending and supplementing a number of articles of Decree No. 127/2007/ND-CP of August 1, 2007 detailing the implementation of a number of articles of the Law on Standards and Technical Regulations.;....

Pursuant to Decree No. 28/2023/ND-CP dated June 2, 2023 of the Government regulating the functions, tasks, powers and organizational structure of the Ministry of Science and Technology;....

At the request of the Director General of the Directorate for Standards, Metrology and Quality and the Director of the Legal Department, decided to amend and supplement the information related to specific LED lighting products as follows:

10. Lighting products with LED technology

10.1

Light Emitting Diode (LED)/Light Emitting Diode (LED) bulbs include:

- Built-in ballast LED lamps for general lighting working at voltages greater than 50V.

- Fixed common LED luminaire; Portable common LED luminaire; Other light bulbs.

- Dual-ended LED bulbs designed to replace straight tube fluorescent bulbs.
