On November 29, 2022, the Ministry of Information and Communications issued Circular No. 22/2022/TT-BTTTT enclosed with QCVN 18:2022/BTTTT National technical regulation on electromagnetic compatibility for radio communication equipment. This Circular will take effect from May 1, 2023 and are mandatory for application in import procedures and for certification of conformity for certain types of radio transceiver equipment.
Application route
- From July 1, 2023, the terminal equipment of radio communication equipment (under the scope of regulation in QCVN 18:2022/BTTTT) imported and domestically produced must meet the requirements. prescribed in QCVN 18: 2022/BTTTT.
- Enterprises, organizations and individuals are encouraged to manufacture and import radio communication terminal equipment (under the scope of regulation in QCVN 18:2022/BTTTT) to apply QCVN 18:2022/ BTTTT from the effective date of this Circular.
Subjects of application
This technical regulation applies to Vietnamese and foreign agencies, organizations and individuals engaged in the production, trading and exploitation of equipment regulated by this Regulation in the Vietnamese territory.
Scope
This standard specifies general electromagnetic compatibility (EMC) requirements for associated radio and ancillary equipment, excluding broadcast receivers.
The specifications concerning the antenna port of the radio equipment and the radiated emissions from the enclosure port of the radio equipment and the combination of the radio equipment and ancillary equipment are not within the scope of this regulation. this standard.
The EMC test arrangements and individual test results evaluation methods suitable for each type of radio equipment are specified in the relevant Particular Conditions sections of the ETSI EN 301 489 series of standards.
In case of differences (e.g. specific conditions, definitions, abbreviations) between this Regulation and the provisions of the relevant Particular Conditions in parts of the ETSI EN 301 489 series of standards, the section of ETSI EN 301 489 series of standards shall apply. relevant particulars of the ETSI EN 301 489 series of standards.
Where there are no technical regulations specifying specific conditions for specific radio service equipment, for example in the case of a new radio service or a specific application, the Standard can be used. this together with the radio equipment specific information provided by the manufacturer to verify the EMC requirements as outlined in this Regulation.
