On November 29, 2022, The Ministry of Information and Communications has just issued Circular No. 17/2022/TT-BTTTT stipulating the National Technical Regulation on E-UTRA narrowband IoT terminal devices – Radio access part (QCVN 131:2022/ BTTTT). This Circular takes effect from July 1, 2023.
Scope
This regulation specifies the technical requirements for the radio access part of E-UTRA narrowband IoT terminals operating on one or more of the bands specified in Table 1 and the planned bands of Vietnam.

Subjects of application
This regulation applies to Vietnamese and foreign organizations and individuals that manufacture and trade in equipment covered by this regulation in the Vietnamese territory.
Specifically, the technical requirements include: Maximum output power of the generator; Transmitter emission spectrum mask; Transmitter spurious emissions; Minimum output power of the generator; The receiver's neighbor channel selectivity; Blocking characteristics of the receiver; Receiver spurious response; Receiver intermodulation characteristics; Receiver spurious emissions; Transmitter adjacent channel leakage power ratio; Receiver reference sensitivity; Total receiver radiation sensitivity; Total radiated power; Radiant emission; Control and monitoring functions.
Related organizations and individuals are responsible for implementing regulations on certification of conformity and announcement of conformity for E-UTRA narrowband IoT terminals and subject to inspection by state management agencies. according to current regulations.
